Like ‘Contested Territory’, this book is also the result of extensive research on the subject of (image) censorship and freedom of the press in Iran that was classified as one of the most extreme in the world (Reporters Without Borders ranked Iran 173 out of 180 countries on the World Press Freedom Index). Continuation of this project is ‘Contested Territory’.
